Decisions that change the match

Think about the next jump

Capturing is mandatory

Always check available jumps before planning an ordinary move.

Sequences create an advantage

One piece can make consecutive captures when the path allows it.

Promotion changes your reach

Reaching the last row turns a piece into a king and unlocks movement in both directions.

How it works

Mandatory capture and promotion

The board has 8x8 squares and pieces move only on the dark squares.

Movement

Regular pieces move one square diagonally forward.

Kings move diagonally forward and backward.

Capture

When a jump is possible, it is mandatory.

Consecutive jumps are allowed in the same move.

Promotion

When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a king.

The king is highlighted on the board.

Verifiable example

A chain capture

If after capturing a piece your piece can jump another one, the move continues.

First jump
captures 1 piece
Second jump
captures 1 more piece in the same move

The game tells you when the capture continues and highlights the next destination.
